Shivaum's schooling in photography was done in a traditional manner following the gurukul system. However, his guru spotted his eye for abstract contemporary photography and encouraged him to pursue it. Pushing the boundaries of conventional photography and styles, he came up with his own unique style. In addition, Shivaum is also an automotive journalist and photographer with an active business background. Shivaum works and lives in Dubai and has achieved various photographic distinctions and awards.
