by Thelma Celine, Denmark
“This piece is part of the Dancing Ladies series. It is based on a painting I did several years ago capturing two female figures spinning around each other. I tried to capture their movement by blurring the edge where the body ends and the background begins. I am a big fan of this colour combination - at first I was not sure about the blue color but when I saw it as a finished piece, I loved how the cold and warm colour tones complimented each other.”
